Som Regional Category Manager vil du spille en afgørende rolle i at fremme og styrke relationerne med det regionale leverandørsamfund. Dette indebærer strategisk positionering af Wrist, hvor du tager hensyn til faktorer som pris, kvalitet, tilgængelighed og logistik. Din opgave vil desuden omfatte analyse af datamønstre med henblik på at optimere sortimenter globalt og regionalt på tværs af hele Wrist Ship Supply.

Med reference til Regional Procurement Manager, Lasse Hedeman, bliver du en integreret del af et dynamisk team, hvor vi arbejder med Category management på et højt niveau. Stillingen kan enten være baseret i Aalborg eller Esbjerg. I løbet af de første måneder vil der være en omfattende onboarding periode. Herefter kan du nyde fleksibiliteten ved at arbejde hjemmefra på udvalgte dage hver uge. Der vil være en smule rejseaktivitet forbundet med dette job, forvent omkring 5+ dage om året, primært relateret til besøg på messer og hos leverandører.

Dine nøgleansvarsområder
Dette job vil omfatte initiering af indkøbsprojekter, udvikling og vedligeholdelse af standard driftsprocedurer (SOP) inden for det respektive område samt analyse og kategorisering af mønstre. Dit primære fokus vil være på projektledelse med særlig vægt på strategisk indkøb

Mere specifikt vil dine primære ansvarsområder være at:

  • Udvikle og implementere regionale indkøbs- og kategoristrategier for tildelte kategorier i overensstemmelse med globale strategier.
  • Analysere udgiftsmønstre, overvåge råvareomkostninger og kommunikere muligheder til interne interessenter.
  • Anvende forhandlingsteknikker for leverandørforhold, igangsætte indkøbsprojekter og drive initiativer til omkostningsbesparelser.
  • Optimere sortimenter og COGS gennem globale og regionale programmer.
  • Vidensdeling mellem regionale kontorer og det globale indkøbsteam.
  • Vedligeholde og forbedre indkøbs-SOP ‘er inden for det respektive område.

Are you ready to take charge of crafting a regional category strategy and navigate the intricate world of spend analysis, unraveling purchasing trends for the leading global supplier of maritime provisions and stores? If so, seize the opportunity to become our new Regional Category Manager.

As a Regional Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and enhancing relationships with the regional vendor community. This includes strategically positioning Wrist through a comprehensive assessment of the total cost of ownership, considering factors such as price, quality, availability and logistics. Additionally, you will analyze data patterns to optimize assortments globally and regionally across the Wrist organization.

Become part of our European Category Management unit
Join our dynamic Regional Category Management team where you will report to Lasse Hedeman, Regional Procurement Manager. In this role, you'll seamlessly become a part of our thriving European Category Management unit. The position can be based in either Aalborg or Esbjerg, Denmark. During the initial months, a comprehensive onboarding period will ensure a smooth transition. Subsequently, you can enjoy the flexibility of working from home on designated days each week. There will be some travel associated with this job. You should expect around 5+ days per year, primarily related to visiting fairs and vendors.

Your key responsibilities in this job will include initiating sourcing projects, developing and maintaining procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the respective area, and analyzing and categorizing patterns. Your main focus will be on project management, with a primary emphasis on strategic sourcing.

More specifically, your key responsibilities will be to:
• Develop and execute regional procurement and category strategies for assigned categories, aligning with global strategies.
• Analyze spending patterns, monitor commodity costs, and communicate opportunities to internal stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced negotiation tools for vendor relationships, running sourcing projects, and driving cost-saving initiatives.
• Optimize assortments and COGS through global and regional programs.
• Share best practices between regional offices and the global procurement team.
• Maintain and enhance procurement SOPs within the respective area.

Qualifications & requirements
Preferably, you have a minimum Bachelor's level education in business, coupled with several years of demonstrated experience in procurement and strategic sourcing.
