Wrist Singapore Constructs a New 95,000 sq. ft. Distribution Center

Wrist Ship Supply invests in a new 95,000 sq. ft. distribution center in Singapore, tripling our stock holding capacity and considerably improving operational efficiency of our ship supply services in the region. The new investment will be fully operational by the end of 2024.

With an increasing push for digital, fast purchasing and a significant growth in customer orders at Wrist in Singapore, efficient warehousing and distribution are becoming more important than ever.  

Over the past two years, we have extended our warehouse capabilities significantly in Houston and Dubai, and the next upscale in warehouse stock capacity and distribution performance will be in Singapore.

Silke Sehgal, Regional Managing Director – APAC, says:

We see an increase in market demand and to accommodate our customers’ ever growing requests for solutions and support, we’re expanding our distribution center, allowing us to meet customer needs in line with our ambitious growth strategy.

By tripling the size of our new warehouse, we will be able to deliver quicker and make processes run faster and smoother. The new modern facility will be equipped with 17 loading docks that will significantly improve the productivity of our operations, and increased warehouse capacity will enable highly efficient Inventory Management.

Focus on work environment and diversity

With the new distribution facilities, we secure an improved work environment for our employees. To support ventilation, the Wrist Distribution Center will be equipped with large ceiling fans in the dry warehouse, ensuring improved working conditions. Our warehouse workers will also benefit from large collaboration rooms, including shower and locker facilities for women, hoping to attract more female warehouse workers to drive diversity in line with our ESG strategy.

The new distribution center in Singapore is set to open by the end of 2024.
