The battle for the Cup trophy continued at Wrist’s annual curling event in Hamburg.
The 9th Wrist Curling Cup in Hamburg took place on 23rd of November.
This year again we had the pleasure to welcome almost 100 participants, out of 15 different shipping companies, to our annual Curling event. And it was with great honor that even teams from outside Hamburg joined – from Bremen (BBG and Zeaborn Shipping) and Lübeck (Oldendorff) took the effort to be a part of this event. For the first time we welcomed a team from Maersk Hamburg and again a team from Peter Döhle and Hellespont, which have been a part of it since 2000.
Having gathered so many existing and potential customers we could not miss the chance to introduce our latest digital tool. Therefore, Wrist CEO, Robert, took the opportunity to introduced "Wrist Digital Catalogue" to all guests, supported by our promo cards which were spread out. This introduction was very well received and a good discussion started right away.
The Gold medal this year was won by Team Hapag Lloyd, Silver – Team PT Shipmanagement, Bronze – Team Essberger. With even more ambition and eagerness "to win" the trophy again this year, (but thanks god to the skills) the Wrist team managed to let the clients win and scored 10 place. Besides the trophy for the best score, it has also become a tradition to glorify the team with the "best dress". Without question, the team from DS won that competition this year.
