WML Aalborg Successfully Handles Urgent Spares Delivery to Edda Wind

In marine logistics, precision and speed are non-negotiable. This was proven once again when Edda Wind contacted us with an urgent request for spare parts delivered to their vessel Vestri Enabler, docked in Edinburgh. The situation called for an immediate solution.

Lasse Bøye Christiansen, Account Manager at WML Aalborg, took immediate action. Within two hours, he departed with the package in hand. The route was planned via Paris and Amsterdam, ensuring an efficient total travel time of just 6.5 hours to Edinburgh.

The large spare parts could not be transported as standard baggage, so to accommodate the oversized package and ensure safe transport, we purchased additional seats.

Lasse boarded Vestri Enabler and hand-delivered the package directly at the Edinburgh port – with no delays or complications, ensuring the vessel’s continued voyage.

This ensured uninterrupted operations for Edda Brint and highlighted our ability to provide reliable and precise service, even in time-critical scenarios.
