Pricing Manager for Global Sales - Denmark

Wrist Ship Supply has launched a central pricing structure as part of its Commercial Excellence team, and is now looking for a Pricing Manager to lead the development of our central pricing strategy. The position will report to the CCO & VP of Global Sales, and will be domiciled at the headquarters in Aalborg.

The position

Wrist Ship Supply has more than 80,000 product items in its assortment, of which 10,000 are high turnover items. These volumes add complexity to price setting, yet provide business intelligence, which would yield invaluable information to establishing the optimal price setting.

This position has specific focus of translating and operationalizing the newly developed pricing strategy, and building pricing intelligence to gain a competitive and winning pricing methodology. In this role, you will be the key owner of the pricing tool, its definition and features, and together with the Pricing Data Analyst, you will identify and prepare pricing parameters for the sales and branch network.
You will build up the new central Pricing function and establish a new pricing approach in close alignment with the company strategy. You will shape the development of a consistent pricing structure across customers, products and the global Branch network including the development of data-driven pricing tools and act as key sparring partner for the global network.

Job specifications

  • Details regional pricing strategy and translates it into pricing parameters
  • Analyzes price performance by region and defines monitoring concept
  • Defines commercial requirements to be implemented in the pricing logic
  • Owns the central pricing tools and oversees their development
  • Acts as sparring partner for regions and trains them on pricing tool.

Your professional and personal qualifications

  • A minimum of five years’ work experience in a highly market intense pricing role
  • Significant commercial expertise in a global multi-sited setting
  • Deep knowledge of product categories and their role for customers
  • Ability to create excitement and engagement in a culturally diverse organization
  • Strong analytical skills to decipher price performance, market trends and similar key data sources
  • Extensive stakeholder management during a period of change management
  • Self-driven, results-oriented personality, working both independently as well as in a team
  • Degree in economics, or other business related subjects or comparable qualification
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.
