MDM Data Analyst - Wrist Group

Wrist is in the process of a digital transformation and is broadening the use of a data-driven approach across our business areas. Master data is vital in a digital business model and therefore we are currently transforming our existing Master data setup into a mature digital data governance structure.

The Data Analyst will be a part of Wrist’ global Master Data Organization and have a central role in making the digital transformation happen. We are seeking a Data Analyst preferably with insights in working with and analyzing data domains like Customer, Product and Vendor.

With reference to our Master Data Director, you will become part of a strong team. The position is based in Noerresundby, Denmark.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will be the data knowledge center for our data domains in the MDM System
  • Work closely with Data Stewards, Data Custodians, and the rest of the Data Governance Office in order to carry out data related activities
  • Responsible for data analysis on behalf of the Master Data Director supporting  reporting to the Business Data Governance Council
  • Be an active part in the development of the Master Data Domains and our new Master Data system
  • Drive the process and participate actively in determining the root cause of data quality issues
  • Ensure impact analysis handling new/changed data or processes in regards to our MDM system and lead the test activities
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of our MDM data dictionary
  • Be the single point of contact to the Wrist BI team to ensure the right data understanding and flow to analytics
  • Provide context and guidance in the understanding and in the usage of data in the MDM system.

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Experience in working with data analysis and preferable with Master Data domains
  • Knowledge of Data Management-related tools, notably querying and data quality measurement tools/techniques
  • Ability to analyze, describe and develop the processes for data flow in an organization
  • Passionate about the handling, meaning, and usage of data
  • Positive mindset and a great personal drive
  • Change Management skills – experience with data-related process change and implementation
  • Great team worker and networking/collaboration skills. You are participating actively and very hands-on in the processes
  • Use to working project oriented
  • Having highly developed communication, change management and networking skills are paramount to this position.
