Garrets International is looking for a Key Account Manager based in Hamburg, Germany.

For a newly created position, we are looking for a Key Account Manager, who can drive our growth ambitions. As a KAM in Garrets, you are an independent team player, who thrives in a very competitive and ambitious commercial team, where customer orientation, hard work and fun are key drivers. You will be handling some of our biggest and most strategic partners, while also delivering growth required to meet our goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and sign new business
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with existing client base (retention)
  • High level Key Account Management
  • Coordination between internal stakeholders in the UK, Denmark and Far East
  • Follow up on client concerns, respond to and resolve any service related issues
  • Ensure accounts are healthy and delivers on both top as well as bottom line.

In order to achieve success, we expect following from you as a person:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience from similar roles, preferably with a network in the maritime world
  • You speak & write English on professional level
  • You are self-driven, ambitious & passionate
  • You are confident, show initiative & persistence
  • You are competitive, extrovert & outgoing
  • You are solution driven and innovative - new is good
  • You are a good listener, structured and process driven – Doing things right the first time!
  • You have a commercial mindset and are passionate about building relations across all levels, both internally and with customers.

You can expect 50-60 travel days per year.
