Are you our new HR Manager (based in Rotterdam)? Newly created position to develop and implement administrative HR practices and processes to support the Branch Management in the attraction and retention of staff to a 100+ workforce.

Our 30 operations and more than 300 partnerships with local suppliers span the world's sea-lanes and are founded on meeting the demands of all ship owners and operators and the offshore oil & gas market. 

As a result of the recent merger of Klevenberg Shipping Center B.V. and Wrist Ship Supply, as well as the general organic growth in the combined organization, it has been necessary to strengthen the organizational structure by creating a HR manager job. In this new role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing administrative HR practices and processes to support the Branch Management in the attraction and retention of staff to a 100+ workforce. The HR Manager role will report directly to the Branch Manager, and will work closely with the Global HR manager.

Your primary responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Timely and accurate filing in the personnel files (digital and hard copy)
  • Support the hiring managers in the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Draft and process all employment documents
  • Collect and process all payroll-related reports in a timely manner
  • Contribute to a positive employee experience in all HR related activities
  • by coordinating, drafting and processing all types of documents and letters regarding new joiners, changes during employment and leavers;
  • Coordinate implementation of local and global HR initiatives and guidelines
  • Act as the HR business partner to the Branch management team, providing guidance and advise in HR-related matters

We are looking for a person with the below skill set:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Personnel Management/Human Resources or similar disciplines
    Minimum  5 years’ of experience in broad all-round HR partnering function in a global dynamic organization
  • Strong administrative competence
  • Good knowledge of both written and verbal Dutch and English is essential
  • Experience in building processes and policies for a newly established HR function would be preferred
  • Key-words are: accountability, agility, hands-on, pragmatic and service-minded.
