Group Financial Controller

Wrist Ship Supply is looking for a new Group Financial Controller, who wants to be a part of an international organization and use their financial skills across countries and subsidiaries.

As Group Financial Controller at Wrist Ship Supply, you will become part of Group Finance who has the overall responsibility of the Group’s financial reporting. The team consists of ten committed team members. Besides financial reporting, they perform tasks such as Transfer Pricing, VAT compliance, Credit and Collection, ESG data compliance, budgeting and forecast as well as payroll administration.

The Position

You will become part of our Group Finance Team which is based at the Group’s head office in Noerresundby. The main responsibility of Group Finance is to ensure correct and accurate financial reporting. At the same time, we support and act as sparring partners for the rest of the business in relation to financial reporting. We strive to improve our services, optimize processes, and deliver financial reporting of the highest quality. Using your analytical skills and financial understanding, you are a competent sparring partner for our finance functions in our subsidiaries. Your role will be to ensure compliance, but also to implement new processes and accounting standards. Your areas of responsibility are wide-ranging and will, among others, include:

  • Controlling and consolidation according to IFRS
  • Preparation of monthly reporting
  • Financial support to subsidiaries
  • Analysis and implementation of new IFRS standards at the Group's subsidiaries
  • Preparation of the Group's annual reports according to IFRS and the Danish Financial Statements Act
  • Continuous optimization of processes and systems, maintenance of group guidelines, etc.

Qualifications

You have graduated with a cand.merc.aud or a HD (R) and have practical experience from a similar position or from the auditing industry where you have serviced large companies.

      • You have a solid understanding of accounting and has experience with consolidation
      • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills and you pay attention to detail
      • You have experience with and understanding of IFRS
      • You have a technical interest and good knowledge of Excel. Experience with ERP/consolidation systems is an advantage
      • You speak and write Danish and English fluently
