Business Process Consultant for Operational Excellence in Wrist (DK)

The Operational Excellence department (OE) is looking for new colleagues to play a key role in the department's work to implement best practice in Wrist. The Department is a unit under Center of Excellence. The overall objective of Center of Excellence in Wrist is to strive towards standardized operating procedures and deliver business systems to uphold financial strength, quality of delivery and operational efficiency.

You will be referring to Mikkel Christoffersen, Head of Operational Excellence, which is placed in Center of Excellence with direct reference to VP, Annemarie Brorsen.

The position
Together with a team of very dedicated employees you will be ensuring that all current processes are described correctly according to the processes working today as well as develop a roll-out concept which will drive faster adoption and greater utilization of our IT systems. The overall target is to create best practices in the future of Wrist via development and implementation of an efficient and future-orientated operating model enabling lower unit cost and easiness of customers ordering and paying.

Job specifications

  • Driver of business processes design and optimization towards the business
  • Make sure that our projects are aligned with the Amazon at Sea Strategy
  • Secure IT systems supports the defined business goals
  • Daily contact to the business securing utilisation of IT systems
  • Capture business and customer requirements
  • Create and maintain KPI’s and ROI
  • Helping local management and local employees to understand best practice and become ambassadors for the purpose of the further implementation
  • An important success criterion is the follow up after implementation, securing adoption amongst the employees in order to minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement. This will be done through conference calls, web conferences and travelling within the countries.

You will have approx. 50 - 90 travelling days away from your home country a year, and your travels will often span several days. It is therefore important that you are flexible and willing to travel and work at different locations.

Furthermore it is important that you:

  • have worked with business development and process optimizations
  • have practical experience with analysing and optimizing processes as well as being able to document these processes
  • have thorough knowledge of implementing processes in organisations
  • have good methods to document your work
  • talk and write English fluently

As a person you are capable of obtaining buy-in from a wide range of different stakeholders and constructively overcome resistance. You are comfortable in a busy environment where you work independent and self-supporting with many tasks, where you can manage your time in order to handle and deliver both urgent assignments as well as long-term projects to the agreed deadline. You must possess good communication skills as well as the drive and willingness to optimize and ask questions to the processes within Wrist Ship Supply. It is furthermore important that you have an understanding of different cultures.
