Exciting position to monitor the implementation and progress of Wrist's 2018-2021 strategy.

Wrist Ship Supply is the world's largest ship supplier and coordinates global activities through regional centers in Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America. Our 30 operations and more than 300 partnerships with local suppliers span the world's sea-lanes and are founded on meeting the demands of all ship owners and operators and the offshore oil & gas market.


Wrist has launched a new strategy for 2018-2021 with significant focus on improving the operating platform to enable future growth. Key to this strategy is Operational Excellence (including Lean practices). In order to monitor the implementation and progress of the 2018-2021 strategy, Wrist is looking for an Executive Assistant to manage the Program Management Office (PMO). The Executive Assistant will lead the PMO office; collect and consolidate all status reporting from project managers to the Executive Management, measuring progress and initiating corrective actions where necessary.

The Executive Assistant will also undertake projects improving the transparency and performance reporting in the Group in close corporation with the Group Finance and Analytics team, as well as other ad hoc projects from the Executive Management, as they relate to M&A or similar activities.

The position is an individual contributor role and you will report to the Executive Vice-President, CFO. The position is based at the headquarters in Aalborg/Norresundby, and some travel activity is expected.

Your primary responsibilities in this role will be

  • Manage and enhance the framework for status reporting on all strategic projects
  • Provide timely update on all key strategic projects to the Executive Management or other key stakeholders
  • Establish key financial measures & dashboard in support of communicating status and progress
  • Establish and maintain an open and productive dialogue with Project Managers and other stakeholders
  • Act as coordinator between Project Managers and Sponsors, ensuring continued progress
  • Preparation of business cases and proposals for the Executive Management
  • Design a structured performance review (KPI &PPI) process for business performance – (in collaboration with the Group Finance and Analytics team)

We are looking for a person with the below skill set:

  • Master-level education within economics, finance or business disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years’ solid professional experience, preferably from similar role, business controller or consulting
  • Significant experience with financial and other data systems, analysis, reporting and presentation
  • Possessing strong commercial awareness and practical understanding of organizational dynamics
  • Lean-mindset
  • High proficiency in English, written, spoken and understanding
  • Experience in building cross-functional collaboration in a global setting
