I started as a purchase trainee with Wrist Ship Supply in July 2008. I had been searching for an education which included stationing to another country and also good possibility of personal development. This made me choose Wrist Ship Supply.

On my first day I got a warm welcome from all of my new colleagues who showed me my new work place. During the first couple of weeks I worked half the day at the office and half the day in the warehouse in order to learn more about our products and procedures. 

Already from my first day I was given responsibility and trust, which has grown during my time working here. That has given me a lot of motivation in my working days.

My job mostly consists of buying items to our warehouse in Aalborg or items to the ships and also dealing with the daily challenges this may involve. I have also participated in supplier meetings with my colleagues, which has been very interesting. 

As of August I will be relocated to our department in Singapore, where I will take the second year of my education. I really look forward to going to Singapore. I have enjoyed working in Aalborg and got a lot of good colleagues, and knowledge of purchasing and the company.
